Canon EOS-1D Mark III Review Part 2 - High ISO

The ability to shoot in low light situations can be crucial to a photographer.  Sometimes the use of flash just isn’t possible or isn’t permitted.  In these situation, we rely on two things.  The first is fast glass with wide apertures (2.8 or more), and the second is higher iso.  Each has it’s own drawbacks.  Shooting at wide open apertures can lead to soft or out of focus images due to the narrow depth of field.  Shooting at higher iso level tends to increase the amount of noise in the image.  Noise can be controlled to a degree if proper exposure is obtained. Augustiner Premium Amber Lager Micro Site Launched

With the recent facelift of the corporate Iron City Brewing Company website, a new micro site was launched to promote its new Augustiner product line.  With a catchy tagline and URL, it asks the question, “How do I GetSomeA?”.  The GetSomeA micro site is a fun departure from the “corporate” image presented by the ICB website.  The micro site is a lot more graphic intense rather than tradition HTML.  Once on GetSomeA.com, you can listen to the radio spots for Augustiner, view advertising, download AIM icon, and wallpaper.  Also while there, you can register for upcoming events and promotions.

Iron City Brewing Company Website Gets Facelift

On Monday, March 17, Iron City Brewing Company’s website underwent a dramatic facelift.  With the company recently coming out of bankruptcy, a new corporate web presence was needed.  The site was built using DotNetNuke’s content management system.  The DNN CMS features vast community support, development and adoption.  The use of the CMS system allows ICB staff to manage content on an immediate notice. Canon EOS-1D Mark III Review Part 1

My brand new Canon EOS-1D Mark III camera is finally here.  Since getting into photography, I started with the Canon Rebel XTi (400D).  I then upgraded to the Canon 40D.  I also wanted to get a full frame sensor DSLR like the 5D, but opted against the 2.5+ year old camera.  So into the picture comes the Canon 1D Mark III DSLR which was launched in 2007. AlphaLab Website Goes Live
